We welcome you to review our handbooks from 2023 for general information about our program. Registered participants and their parents will receive a notice via email when 2024 handbooks are available.
We’ve prepared the Student Handbook and the Parent Guide to assist students and parents as they prepare for the MIPA Summer Journalism Workshop at Michigan State University. These resources are available as Google Docs. They can be saved to your computer as PDF files or printed.
Participant Handbook
This guide is designed to help youth participants prepare for our program. It should answer many questions students might have, including arrival and departure times, what he or she should pack and where to go.
Parent Guide
We also cover some of the most common questions we get from parents. The guide also includes important phone numbers to contact MIPA.
