DTV of Davison High School has been inducted as the 20th member of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association Student Media Hall of Fame. The student media outlet is the first broadcast program to be recognized in the Hall of Fame.
The MIPA Hall of Fame was created in 2002 to recognize student media outlets that have built a reputation of excellence over a long period of time. To become a member, a student media outlet must earn nine Spartan Awards in a 10-year period. The Spartan is MIPA’s highest rating of a student media outlet.
DTV’s adviser, Randy Scott, student staff and representatives of Davison Community Schools were recognized at MIPA’s Spring Awards & On-Site Contests in Lansing on April 21, 2016.
