Parking
CARS may park in:
- MSU’s Ramp 6, which has access from Grand River Avenue or East Circle Drive. Visitor parking is available in designated “Pay by Plate” parking spaces, using the “Pay by Plate” kiosks. Parking in a space not designated as “Pay by Plate” parking may result in a parking violation.
Using the MSU Pay by Plate Kiosk
Park your car in a spot with a Pay by Plate Parking sign. You will need your license plate number. Parking payment kiosks are located near pedestrian exists to the ramp on the first level. Enter your plate number and choose the desired parking time. You may pay with cash (exact change) or credit card. Cost is $1.80 per hour.Using the Spot On Mobile App
The iOS and Android application (available as a Web app for other mobile platforms) allows you to pay for a parking session from your mobile device. For parking sessions initiated with the app, you can also extend your parking session if you need more time, without returning to the parking lot. We are sorry, but MIPA cannot pay for your parking. Credit cards are accepted at these two lots. Parking fees are subject to change without notice to MIPA.
BUSES may park for free on the corner of Mt. Hope Road and Farm Lane, in Lot 89. Please go to http://maps.msu.edu/ and download the “detailed campus map” for additional directions or parking options. You may want to download the “driving directions” as well.
