Classes for Journalism Teachers, Publication Advisers & Others

Our summer workshop classes are designed just for you. The MSU School of Journalism has been offering courses for teachers and advisers for more than 25 years. We know what you need. You’ve told us. We know what you want. You’ve told us that too. And we make it happen.

Yes, our credit courses cost money. But we think generally, in life, you get what you pay for. You’ll leave here with new friends who do what you do. You’ll leave here with knowledge that you’ll take back to your classroom in the fall and use immediately. Some teachers come back year after year because they find the “immersion” experience just what they need to get revitalized for the fall.

Everyone leaves happy, refreshed, confident, motivated . . . and a little tired, but ready to tackle the new school year and a new crop of young journalists.

You can take classes to get the hours you need or you can work toward a journalism endorsement on your certificate. We’ll help you figure it out.
