For the first time, MIPA is requiring students who apply to be part of the Student Journalist Staff to submit their portfolios in an electronic format. We’ve also changed some things to align our contest with the JEA Student Journalist of the Year contest.
If you have questions about the directions or how to put together your portfolio, join us for a live question-and-answer session at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, with MIPA director Jeremy Steele and Julia Satterthwaite, MIPA’s past president and Michigan JEA chair, about creating a portfolio for MIPA’s Student Journalist Staff competition.
