Three MIPA member newspapers were named as Crown Finalists in Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s 2017 competition.
Fenton High School’s InPrint, H. H. Dow High School’s Update and Stockbridge High School’s Uncaged Student News were named among 56 hybrid newspapers as Crown Finalists. Hybrid newspapers publish in print and digital formats.
Nearly 1,200 newspapers, magazines, yearbooks and digital media outlets were eligible for judging in CSPA’s competition.
Crown Awards are the highest recognition given by the CSPA to a print or digital medium. CSPA Crown Awards will be presented in March 2017 at ceremonies in New York City. Honorees submitted work published during the 2015-16 academic year.
