Whether you’re a seasoned adviser or just starting out, this workshop offers an immersive learning environment where you can develop and refine your curriculum, dive into the intricacies of media law and ethics, master the art of revision and coaching, and discover effective strategies for structuring a thriving student media program.

The Adviser Institute runs concurrently with the MIPA Summer Journalism Workshop for your students. You’ll have time to check out our youth program and interact with any of your students who are attending. Learn more about our youth program.

MIPA is offering partial scholarships to help advisers participate in the residential option of the institute. Priority for funding is given to applications received by June 1. Learn More and Apply
