Overview

  • Deadline: Feb. 14, 2020 (The submission system will stop accepting entries at 11:59 p.m.)
    • Yearbook Early Deadlines (Save 10 percent off entry fees)
      • Spring books: July 15, 2019
      • Fall books: Nov. 15, 2019
  • Cost: $2 per entry
  • Limit 2 entries per media outlet, unless otherwise indicated
  • After you’re done submitting, tally all of your entries and fill out the Contest Payment Form.

Contest Categories

Click on the category below to submit entry. Yearbook categories begin accepting submissions in May/June. Other categories open for new submissions in November/December.

Yearbook members: MIPA strongly encourages you to mail us one print copy of your yearbook for the judges to reference on Judging Day. Our judges have occasionally found it extremely helpful to look at how entry material actually appears in print (sometimes, work just doesn’t look the same on screen). This cannot be the same book that is used for Spartan Critiques (so if you also are submitting for a critique, you’ll have to send us a total of two books). Books used for Individual Contest judging will be returned to you at the awards ceremony, or can be picked up from the MIPA office at a later date at your convenience.
