MIPA’s One Day Workshop provides students and advisers a chance to take their skills to the next level. Spend a day our outstanding instructors getting hands-on training in a variety of skill areas for student media outlets.
Take the time to learn the tools you’ve been meaning to get to all year. The One Day Workshop also is a great way to train new staff members and leaders to prepare for next year.
Enrollment is limited, so don’t wait until the last minute to register!

Hands-on courses
- $35 per person from a MIPA member school
- $45 per person from a non-MIPA member school
- Advisers, attend one of our courses free when you bring five students! (Lunch not included.) Members: Use discount code adviserfree35 when registering. Non-members: Use discount code adviserfree45 when registering. Make sure you include yourself in the registration count for the class of your choice.

Registration: 9-10 a.m.
Morning Class Session: 10 a.m.-Noon
Lunch: 12:30-1 p.m.
Afternoon Class Session: 1-3 p.m.
