Registration Information

Immerse yourself in journalism and media at the 2019 MIPA Fall Conference! Join nearly 2,000 student journalists and media advisers from across the state to learn from top journalism educators and professional journalists. Pick from nearly 80 breakout sessions to help you hone your skills in writing, editing, photography, video, yearbook, design, social media AND MORE! Please review our event policies. It is understood that by the act of registering students for an event, advisers assume responsibility for their students’ behavior and well-being during a MIPA activity. Advisers: Please register your students as a group and do not allow students to individually fill out the registration form. If your students are paying separately to attend the conference, we ask that you collect those payments and make one single payment to MIPA to streamline the registration process for our 2,000 attendees. For payments by credit card, check, purchase order or cash (at the door), please register using the below options. You will be automatically sent an invoice or confirmation to the email you use while registering. Online registration will close at 5 p.m. the day before the event. Registrations after this point may be made at the door. Early Registration Discount: Save $1 per student when you use coupon code FallPayEarly AND pre-pay by Oct. 15. Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations must be received by 5 p.m. Oct. 15 to receive a full refund. Early discount registrations are nonrefundable after this date. Registrations are transferable.
