MIPA is looking for a member adviser to fill the remaining months of a trustee term on our Executive Board.
One of our board members is retiring mid-year and plans to leave the state. The person appointed to fill this seat could choose to run for election for a full, two-year term this spring, or could choose only to serve the remaining months of this term, which ends in May. Either way, we appreciate your service and your help ensuring member voices are fully represented on the board.
Vacancies are filled by a vote of the MIPA Executive Board.
MIPA’s board meets six times per year, typically on Saturday mornings and the Friday night before our annual Judging Day. Meetings are in East Lansing, with an option to attend via Zoom.
You can express your interest in serving by completing this form. The information you submit will be sent to MIPA’s Officer Recruitment Committee, chaired by First Vice President Christina Hammitt, and Executive Director Jeremy Steele. It also may be reviewed by the board as members work to fill this seat.
We will begin reviewing candidates immediately in hopes of the board making an appointment at its Dec. 4 meeting.
