We’re sorry if you find a misspelling, typo or other error on your certificate. We create about 3,000 certificates each year, and mistakes can happen.
We pull information for certificates directly from our contest system, where advisers and/or students names and other details. We try to touch this information as little as possible to reduce the chance that we introduce an error. If you find a misspelling or other mistake, please follow the below process:
- Please email the correction to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line AWARDS CORRECTION so that we can correct our awards database. Please be as specific as possible about the error and the award so that we can identify it. (You might even write the correction on the certificate, take a photo of the entire certificate and email or fax it to us.)
- If you would like a corrected copy of a certificate, follow the below step to order additional copies. We are now charging a modest fee for this service if the error was inputted into the contest system when the entry was submitted. (If it was our error, we’ll fix it at our cost.)
