Lansing Center Parking for School Groups

Free with required number of event registrations

MIPA will provide parking at no additional charge for school groups as follows: 1 motorcoach or 1 school bus (schools that fill more than 1 bus with attendees may request additional parking by contacting the MIPA office) or 1 passenger car/van per 7 registrations, up to 7 parking vouchers.

Please select amount of parking needed for your school group from the following types

Car or Van Parking
Passenger car or van parking is available in lots 19, 20 or 21 below the Lansing Center or in the North Grand Avenue parking ramp, 219 N. Grand Ave. Bring your parking ticket stub to the MIPA event registration desk upon arrival to receive validation sticker.

School Bus Parking
School bus parking at the Lansing Center is in Lot 37, behind the building. Parking must be pre-paid. Lot attendants will not take payments on site.

Motorcoach Street Parking
A limited number of motorcoach spaces are available in front of the Jackson Field ballpark, on the 500 block of East Michigan Avenue. Motorcoaches should park on the north side of the street only in the designated reserved spaces. Motorcoach parking arrangements must made with MIPA at least five days in advance. Motorcoaches are not allowed to park in Lansing Center parking lots.

Description

You must have the required number of registrations for your school group to receive parking from MIPA at the venue. You are responsible for additional parking needs beyond the levels noted above. Individual attendees not traveling in a school group are responsible for their own parking.

Car/van drivers: Park lot 19, 20 or 21 below the Lansing Center or in the North Grand Avenue parking ramp, 219 N. Grand Ave. Please bring your parking stub to the registration desk at check-in to receive a validation.
