Students gather inside the doors of the Lansing Center for the MIPA Fall Conference.

Nonprofit student media and journalism programs are invited to be part of our 2nd annual College Journalism & Media Fair at the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association Fall Conference on Monday, Oct. 16, at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing.

Our conference attracts nearly 2,000 student journalists and their teachers from across the state of Michigan for a day of breakout sessions on a variety of topics.

Setup begins at 7 a.m. Most students arrive between 8-9 a.m., and this is a very active time for booths. Exhibitors generally break down their space by lunch (at about 11:30 a.m.) Please note: Tables do not include electrical power, and public WiFi access is not available within the convention center.

MIPA will provide one table for free per nonprofit college. Tables may be requested by colleges, academic programs or college student media (please coordinate with each other to share a table). Additional tables are $100. For-profit entities may reserve a table as a vendor. Information on parking at the Lansing Center is available here.

College fair participants also are welcome to submit a proposal to present a breakout session.
